Privacy Policy
Acalenta is built on a simple conviction: prayer is between you and God. The app has no ads, no tracking, no behavioral analytics, and never sells data. This page explains, without unnecessary legalese, the little we store and why.
1. Who is responsible

2. What stays ONLY on your phone
- Your journal and everything you write in the app;
- your personal prayers and intentions;
- your flame, candles and prayer progress.
This data never leaves your device. Neither we nor any third party can access it. If you delete the app, it is gone.
3. What your account stores on our servers
- Your email address (to sign in with a code);
- your trial or subscription status.
That is all. This data is stored on Amazon Web Services servers in the European Union (Frankfurt region) and is used only to make the app work.
4. Payments
Subscriptions are processed exclusively by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play. We never see or store payment details — we only receive confirmation that a subscription is active.
5. Emails
We send service emails only (sign-in codes, welcome) from app@acalenta.com. No advertising, no unsolicited newsletters.
6. Deleting your account and data
In the app, under Profile → Delete account and data, you can delete your account and everything on our servers, at any time, with immediate effect. We keep no copies.
7. Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, rectify, port and erase your data, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese supervisory authority CNPD (cnpd.pt). For any request: support@acalenta.com.
8. Children
Acalenta can be used by the whole family. We do not knowingly collect data from minors beyond the account email; account creation should be done or authorized by a parent.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date above. Significant changes will be communicated in the app.
